It appears as though you are already enjoying the time you spend here.
Oh yes! I do...really do!
I've a lot to learn and I'm absorbing the wealth of information on this forum.
I expect my first kilt...the Caledonia (mod) to arrive in 3 weeks, nr.2 will be the "Holland Tartan" kilt (6655)...can order it in February (out of stock right now) and because I'm hopeless...nr.3 will probably be the "Dutch MacKay" planned for my birthday in May

Welcome Robin, I'm a bigger idiot than you, it took me 51 years to wake up to kilts, but I'm not falling asleep again.
I love whisky too, but sorry, I see no point in hitting a wee white ball around a field all day
Still, thankfully, this place is for kilts, not golf, or else I would have nothing intelligent to say.
Come to think of it.....
Nice sporran!!

What's so tough about golf? I mean, really. The ball just lays there waiting to be hit. It doesn't move and there's nobody trying to block your shot. Looks pretty simple to me.
I finally woke up to kilts at age 54 and I ain't going back to trousers.

now Bubba, I know you're a huge carnivore, but really, why hit that poor little ball?
what has it ever done to you??
at least it's a change of topic, not being the balls we normally talk about here

Welcome.
I own the largest collection of seashells in the world. You might have seen it. I keep it scattered around the beaches of the world.
