My turn!
Yesterday possingk and I (and wives) took a ride to the new USAK store. While there, I ordered a 5 yard Laois County Crest tartan and a semi-trad Ireland's National. The wife is very supportive of my kilting, but I have orders to stop buying for a little while (now...how to get a Freelander Sporran here without her noticing...LOL).
Knowing how busy Rocky is lately, I will still be holding a daily vigil at my door awaiting delivery! I am looking forward to adding these two to the collection.
Cheers,
KL

Ahhh Keith, Hosehead, Dee....I'm salivating on the keyboard.
I ordered up an Ireland's Naitional Semi-Traditional from Rocky a week or so ago...trying not to jones too badly...ahhhhhhhhh.
I do have a baja from Creative Irish Gifts in a similar tartan...and its fuzzy and I can snuggle up against it and suck my thumb while I wait.

That ain't me....obviously...baja is $30.00

And, I don't wear it with jeans....does go great with my caramel UK Workman's, think there's a pic on page 8 or 9 of my gallery. Sorry Rocky, Know this is your USAK forum...hmmm would probably be overkill to wear this baja with the Ireland's National semi-traditional...maybe for St. Paddy's day....

Update (Woo Hoo)
Once again, I am dredging up an older post from a few weeks ago...
Rocky called last night, and both the 5 yard wool Marton Mills County Crest Laois and the Semi-trad PV Ireland's National will be finished by tomorrow morning. possingk and I will be heading to Pheonixville tomorrow morning to pick-up the finished product...
Two in one day (and numbers 4 and 5 in the collection)! I can hardly contain myself....
A few days short of 5 weeks from order to completion (had to wait for the Laois crest wool to arrive). GREAT JOB, ROCKY! I can't wait to see the new Laois tartan.
I will get some pictures posted by Sunday evening, I hope. I only wish I had a chance to wear them out this weekend, but tomorrow evening I will be in full-formal with my HOE County Laois tank for my wife's company Holiday Celebration... I guess it is not a bad thing, since I will still be kilted, just not in the new additions...

Hosehead,
Congrats on your kilts. I also looked up the County Laois (I received Matt's Compendium of District Tartans for Christmas) and that's really nice. I might have to have a chat with Rocky on that one myself.
Ron,
The pics have a hard time doing Ireland's National justice. I guarantee you'll like it even better than you think your going to when you see it in person. Hope it arrives soon.

Ron... I think Kelly finished yours up 2 days ago and it went out yesterday. It should be there soon.
Kevin... just finished your IN kilt a half hour ago. They're hanging up and ready to go!
Kelly and I are trying to stay ahead of the curve (timewise). We're going to Scotland in a week and are working longer than normal hours to try to get the numbers down so it won't be as bead when we get back.

Thanks. Are both (House of Edgar County Tartan and Marton Mills County Crest) Laois tartans in the Compendium? Now that I have two Laois, perhaps I should now go for the Sligo (Mother's side of the family are from County Sligo). This is an addiction! MORE MORE MORE!!!!!
