    Druimnadrochaid

Probably OK to bring a sgian dubh so long as its not worn but is within your checked in luggage, Valencian, and I don't think customs should give you a problem. I will need to take my wife for her annual visit to her cousin's grave near Fort William (An Gearasdan) some time during July or August, and as An Gearasdan isn't too far away from Druimnadrochaid I might get a chance to briefly meet some of you.

It'll be fine in your luggage, but I supply my Sgian Dubhs in a box that has a certificate with some info on the taditional nature of the Sgian Dubh just in case security / customs ask.

Since my last post on this thread on 13th February, my wife had a prolonged spell of hospitaliaztion but is now on the road to recovery. So our Highland holiday week will be slightly later in the summer this year. We have just booked up at The Old Pines Hotel in Spean Bridge for 16th to 23rd September. Any X-markers around that area then?
