Last September at the Fort Erie Celtic Festival I stopped at Robert Pel (RKilts)'s booth and spent a good 15-20 minutes just talking with him. He mentioned XMarks. Then a couple of hours later I was on the other side of the field at the Canadian Casual Kilts booth, run by MacHummel and his wife, and she mentions XMarks, how they're a great bunch of guys - including Robert. Before I was interested, now I was curious - what kind of place is this, where sellers who normally would be fighting for your business are selling up the competition. I had to stop and see this for myself. And now you're all stuck with me.

I was searching for casual kilts when I came upon the the forum's list of casual kiltmakers. I decided to look around to see what else they had. Lurked for a couple of months then signed on.

Hmmm. I had ordered a Utilikilt and found the UK site for them. It was a bit er...unruly (myself included) and someone mentioned XMarks. Here I am. The best run site on the web as far as I'm concerned.

I was getting a kilt for my wedding (3-4-05) and wanted to know all I could about kilts and such... I did the Google thing and landed here..
Little did I know I would find such a nice place to call home on the web..

Saw it thru Google first, but after mentions at Bravehearts and KiltReview, I came over and investigated. Been here since.

I found the link on KiltDay, and am I ever glad I did!
If not for all the info and links on Kilt Day and X Marks, well, I'll just say I would be a pretty dorky looking kilt wearing fashion disaster!

Been on the UK Yahoo group for quite awhile, through the interesting and the inane. During one of the crazy times, someone mentioned XMarks, and so I checked it out.

I, like Colin and a few others, signed on shortly after the birth of Xmarks. The increasingly bizarre direction of another forum I followed, had left me no alternative but to search for a more focussed venue. Found Xmarks and been here ever since.

I found the site by accident when I was searching Yahoo! for more info on kilts and wearing them. I had no idea there *were* other people out there who were wearing kilts out and about whenever they felt like it.
Bryan...glad to be hear now, though...
