Think how we feel when people think that as Canadians we all live in igloos, ice fish, and speak broken French, eh. Some people are amazed to find that Canada is not all covered in snow year round.

Being from a somewhat infamous tropical isle, I have been hit with the grass hut/coconut shell/"you speak english so well" BS far too many times for me to count - especially when i was in college. And dont get me started on the whole triangle nonsence...
But it can be a lot of fun to turn someones ignorance around on them. Had a friend beleiveing that we grew giant sea horses in the waters surrounding Bermuda - big enough to ride. why the hell else would they have been called horse???
