Welcome to the forum, Ivanovic. Like you, I wore kilts for many years before joining this forum. When I joined I owned just three kilts. Since I joined I have passed one of these on to another member as it no longer fitted me, I have bought another two and have a further two on order, so I will have a total of six.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I was bitten by the kilt bug very early in life, but didn't have the money (I was lucky enough to have my first kilt given to me), then when I did have the money, was overwelmed by the number of kiltmakers available. Anyway, since finding this site, have ordered two kilts, and have plans for another (as long as the wife doesn't find out).

Welcome,
Don't let anyone talk you into another kilt. You'll see the light on your own. All this talk about kilts, Tartans, Solids, accesories and the kiltmakers will drive you to want more on your own.
Enjoy your New kilt purchase

Enjoy your three kilts, my wife says that three is enough as well.

And how many outfits, exactly, does your wife have?

Welcome to you, Dennis. Glad to know you have more kilts on the way. If you're trying to resist the urge for more kilts, this in NOT the place to be.

A warm welcome to Xmarks, Dennis. You might enjoy having a non-trad or two. I like having the choice of wearing either a traditional style or a non-trad.

Great you can pick up more about the kilt after wearing it for so long Dennis. So what is, in your opinion the difference between the Black Watch and the Ancient Campbell?there's somtimes confusion with the Campbell tartans and I'm open to learn more about it as my mother has re-married into the Campbell Clan.
