Contrasts
First of all I want to say that I have no taste. That being said:
What you want is contrast black kilt, white or patterned shirt.
Now try this black shoes, flash, kilt, four-in-hand tie, belt, & sporran with white kilt hose and shirt.
Or try white shoes, flash, & shirt with black hose, kilt and tie.

not me. If I'm going to spend that much on a sweater, it sure as hell better have a shapely lassie in it!
( or a 16oz strome tartan tank ..hmmmm...decisions...)

Oh I forgot to mention that. I always remove the pockets when I want to look more dressed up. I really like that feature!

Here's one for a few $$ less - not quite as thick, and not hand-made, but still quite nice.
Merino wool sweater.

That's a nice looking sweater. Too bad it's starting to warm up here.

I had the same thought. I don't wear sweaters very often anyway, and I sure won't need one for the next several months.

if it didn't cost an arm and a kilt to get one, I'd wear one were it off-white/otameal color.
