Right! Okay everyone, gather around the guy in the Xmarks tshirt, but not too close. Let's all follow him around as a group and see how long it takes for him to get paranoid.

Is it paranoid if they really are after you?

Well, I've heard it said that just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you.

I'm planning on Saturday and maybe Sunday too. But Saturday certainly as I don't want to miss the caber toss. Never seen that one in person. If the blues don't clash too badly :rolleyes: I'll be wearing one of my XMarks shirts with my Carolina District kilt.

BUMP and Weather Warning
Just so those of you not used to (or not YET used to) the greater DC weather -- this weekend (after a long spring of beautiful weather) is going to be typical late June. Temps in the lower 90's and humid . It's dealable but please prepare.
For me it might now entail XMarks T-Shirt, Utilikilt and sandals instead of XMarks T-Shirt, midweight wool kilt, hose etc.
Drink lots of water.

OK guys. Those of us in Northern Virginia (NOVA) have not been good hosts or good at putting together a kilt night. \
HERE WE HAVE A FESTIVAL (caps intended) so we can do this.
Have not heard back from Glassman but I know that JerMcC, Davedove etc.. are coming. I will be wearing one of my XMarks shirts no matter which kilt. It may not match but what the he$%. PM me and I will send my cell number.
I have not been to this venue before so I can't set places to meet but I will say that I will be at the caber toss and BEFORE that I'll probably visit the BEER tent. (Schedule says there is a luncheon at 11:00 and then after lunch the caber toss is next. PM me and lets see how many XMarkers we can get together.
{SORRY, THAT'S SATURDAY}
Slaint Mhath.
er...again did I spell that right??

Starbkus, I sent a reply to your PM. The Guinness tent and stage is a good place to meet. It is fairly large, and has quite a few tables. Of course there is a good supply of Guinness nearby too. From my experience with the Potomac festival and the grounds, if they got the rain I got here yesterday, be prepared for lots of mud. They had a delivery truck buried up to its axles for all of Saturday, two years ago.

I remember that mud and then all the straw laid down. I like the caber toss, I have not been informed what time we will be there. Which kilt to wear depends on what I'm doing the rest of the day.
