Curious how, generally speaking, women are often more accepting of kilt-wearing men than other men.
That's because the human being is just another animal...with funny instincts.
Men are dominant creatures...they strife to be better as other men...haircut, muscles, clothes, big car, wealth etc. It's in their subconsiousness to show off...to impress the females. (compare birds...the nicest feathers, the silliest show offs....male).
So...when another male starts wearing a kilt (nicer feathers)...he's a threat.
Females...they choose the male with the nicest feathers (a kilt)...they will make compliments, start drooling, wild beasty glare in their eyes and they might even jump the kiltwearer (ask Alan )

If you said that, you would have been kicked off the course and banned from the club. Momma warned me about girls like that.

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but it's *possible* that one of the lasses was talking to another one of the lasses...

Normally, golf is not-so-good for me ego, but a comment like that could certainly change things.

Ah, yes. 'spose it's also a possibility that there was an epileptic donkey on the course, too. One never knows.

I suppose it would depend on where you are.
I live rather close to Arizona State University, and the local population of "lasses who look really attractive but prefer women to men" is astonishingly high.
If she'd said, "Oh yeah, laddie, wiggle that ****," I'd have to say there's no more wiggle room in the possibility.
