Good luck in the competition. Stop by the Lamont tent and say hello when you get time.

I've read postings from a few members asking questions in other threads about who is hosting XMarks at Stone Mountain and what the plans are. Rather than hijacking those threads, I figured I'd just update this one.
Cawdorian and myself are working at the Clan Lamont tent. We'll be there all weekend. I've offered it as the meeting place for XMarkers because when we tried to meet at the vender area last year, we all missed each other. Too many people, no way to identify each other. We can either set a time to all met up together at the tent, or feel free to drop by anytime. Setting a time might work better, since there is a chance Cawdorian and I could be out wandering the grounds otherwise. Before we set a time, maybe those that are coming could reply with when you are planning on being there.

I will be there both days. I will be setting up the camper on Friday and will be staying there until Sunday. It doesn't matter to me what time we meet. I will go along with whatever everyone decides. It will be good to see everyone there.

I plan to be there both days - Saturday with family and Sunday stag. 1 pm seemed to work for the Hartwell games - although I showed up late - so I'll put that out there. The SMHG web site doesn't have much info about when things are happening, but I'll bet the opening ceremonies are somewhere between 1030 and 1200. Looking forward to seing you all there. We may need to do a two-row Hamish dip.

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

They have a schedule page up now, http://www.smhg.org/ and 1:00 on Saturday does seem a good time (if most X-markers will be there on Saturday). 1:00 on Sunday is the Parade of Tartans, so alot of people would probably be busy then. But I plan on being there both days, so if we can pick a meeting time for a "mass Hamish" pic, I'll be there!

Parade of Tartans is with Massed Bands. I'd rather not miss it. how about right afterwards. That way the parading off can serve as a rallying signal and remind everyone to meet.

Shall we try to meet at the Lamont tent on each of those days, for those who won't be there for both days? We can meet at 1 PM Saturday, and then again after the Parade of Tartans on Sunday.

That's a plan I can live with.
