I am 6' and my first (and only) tartan is a BW SWK, the 24 sits 1" above my naval and hits right about mid knee maybe a little higher. would not mind having one just a little shorter so i can wear it lower but i am happy with what i have.

I'm 5'10" and I like the way my SWKs fit. I like them at, or slightly above the navel. and to hit the top of my knee. Problem is I've got a bulging midsection which helps the waist to slip, dropping the edge to mid-knee, acceptable, and sometimes bottom off the knee, unacceptable. I find that until I've got a couple of drinks in me and don't care anymore, that I need to occassionally hike the waste up.

My traditional kilt is a 23" drop, and it too wants to slip at the waste a bit, but I've found that even when it slips it doesn't go too low on the knee. I just need to get used to the feeling of the waste being lower, and the edge hitting my knee.

Rich, Your Night stalker looks like a perfect fit, and goes great with all the black accessories.

How many guys that find "proper" length a lil short to sit down. If that doesn't make sense to you, think about what happens with a set length over a larger radius???????? I need to mid or below knee to make sure I'm "covered". Sweeping properly just won't add length. I wear my SWK the same as my pants and its all okay, raise it 2 inches..........lil cold at times sittin down.
