Welcome to the boards. This is a fun place. As far as any religious rebuke... well you could point out that no one in biblical times would have worn pants. It's funny about the pants misconception thing... people act as if that is all that men have ever worn. IF anyone ever says anything about you wearing women's clothes, just firmly state that the kilt IS a man's garment, and has been so for many, many years.
