    There are three matching buttons (smaller sized) along the seam of each sleeve. You can barely see them in the picture from behind.

    Are adding epaulettes really worth the extra expense? I think the jacket looks good without epaulettes.

    My formal jacket, formerly a USAF mess dress jacket, never had epaulettes and I think it looks good that way.
