The city is wonderful. I'll throw in a tour of the Royal BC Museum. And I'm sure I could find a few other kilties to make your visit an enjoyable one.

A trip to Victoria would be nice, but as we only have 3 days to spend I don't think we'll be able to pull it off this trip. Thanks for the offer, though!

Tuesday at the Celtic Bayou sounds good to me. I like their menu.

If You're coming to the Portland /Vancouver area there are a number of celtic theme places to go including the Oregon City Stillhouse which has a whisky list that rivals most restaurants wine lists for choices and several tasty choices of "Scottish style food". What time would you be planning to get here?

I honestly have no idea at this point. I know that we wouldn't want it to be a really late evening, as it's a 3+ hour drive back to the motel. I expect we'd probably get into the Portland area fairly early, around noonish or so. That way we could spend the day looking around playing tourist.

7:00 on Tuesday the 24th sounds great! I posted a reply to your Kilts Night post about this as well.

As I mentioned in that post, I'll be posting updates as the time gets closer.

Tuesday at 7...sounds great looking forward to it.

Besides Al and his wife, it sounds like maybe 4 or 5 Xmarks (+/- spouses/partners).
