    Mr. Hall,

You may not have earned money for the work, love, and esprit you put into the Leatherneck Tartan, however, you have earned the respect and thanks of all of us who served and now wear your Tartan with the same pride that we wore the uniform.

    I wear the kilt because:
    Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

May I add my most sincere Thank You for this wonderful tartan. I now have four kilts in various levels and I wear your tartan a lot. I frequently get many positive comments on your design!!! I love to wear it!

From one retired MGySgt, I can honestly say that you have captured the heart and soul of our beloved Corps. Thank you Sir!

    And welcome to our rabble!!!!

You do know there's a Navy tartan as well, yes? Not that I'm arguing against getting a Leatherneck, just pointing out that you should also grab one of the other.

Back in the day, we used to joke that the Marine Corps had its few good men -- Navy Corpsmen

I say "certainly". Anyone asks, tell em you are wearing it for tribute to the marines in service. It is what I do with my leatherneck tartan and I served in the Air Force. Have you looked to Stillwaterkilts.com. They have a real nice leatherneck tartan.

    Doc Mac,

Hey brother...thanks for the quote on "A few Good Men"...LOL...Yes, I'm aware that the navy has one, but I have yet to purchase it...One kilt at a time is all I can afford, but definately plan on getting it.

Being a Marine that has the leatherneck tartan kilt(and love wearing it) I think you should wear it to honor your dad. But why not get a army sport kilt too? all branches are honored with their own tartan. That way all bases are covered and it gives you a chance to get another kilt to have in your closet

That's a riot cause we had a joke that said, "Yes, the Marines are a department of the Navy...the men's department.

Well, that's better than General Eisenhower's dismissal of the Marines as "the Navy's police force." Personally, I think the US would be poorer for not having a Marine Corps, and I intend to buy a Leatherneck tartan kilt myself, before too horribly long.

Cool. In my unit, we considered the Corpsman more Marines than sailors. Of course, I was a parachute rigger so whether it was on the drop zone or in the party hotspots, the docs always had my back.
