As an aside, when I was once accosted by a truly loud and obnoxious lout, asking at the top of his lungs on a busy street whether or not I had underwear on, I said....

"So,why would you want to know?"

Whereupon he bellowed something about "easier access", so I belowed something equally loud about him being so rude that the only place he had access to was the farm animal pens.

Surprised him, and shocked the dickens out of my wife... I can be incredibly crude and unacceptable when pushed.

I can do the same. I sometimes shock the Mrs. (and myself!) with some of the stuff that at the very least enters my head when pushed. Sometimes it comes out.

It's one of the very few things about myself that I don't like one bit. While I have definite control over what I say, it saddens me that I can even think of some of the things to say that run through my head.

Alan - your ability to to remain calm in the face of others utter stupidity is amazing. That and why anyone would want to mix it up the a guy your size is even more amazing!

BTW - I agree with P1M and think a Macallan 18 is a great choice!
