    I know . . . sorry. They only report magnitude 2.5 or greater for the U. S. and 4.0 or greater for the rest of the world (yours was 3.5). I suppose they do that to make the size of the list manageable. We have hundreds of earthquakes in Alaska every day when you count all the micro-temblors.

    One of the reasons I love living in Colorado. Earthquakes are a rare occurrence, and the few we do get are hardly ever big enough to be felt. I like my ground stable, I do.

    The only quake I remember in Amelia was a couple of years ago. I was sitting up in my tree stand during deer hunting season. As usually happens on a warm fall morning with the sun shining on me, I was "resting my eyes" or "checking my eyelids for leaks", when I was shaken to sudden awareness. It felt like a bear had crept up while my eyes were resting and tried to shake me out of the tree. I'm sure gladI don't live in an area where quakes are a common occurance.
