I was kilted at a "Pre"New Year's party last night (first wearing of my new black Argyll jacket). Not sure of tonight's plans but most likely they will include a kilt of one sort or another.

Kilted for the New Year celebration
I will celebrate Hogmanay with friends in Ajax, Ontario. (Only town I know of that's named after a warship, it's usually the reverse.) To be followed by a New Year's Day Dinner of my "Haggis for the squeamish"*, neeps, tatties & nips.
I have a choice of kilt. Probably the solid black Pringle, but I might choose the Ancient Hunting MacRae tank. (Decisions! Decisions!) It is way too cold here for my brown AK.
*Just replace the sheep bits with ground beef and cook in a pudding basin. BTW, the Finns have a really good version of neeps. Cook & mash the swede, put it in a pyrex dish, top with breadcrumbs & butter & put in the oven for 45 minutes.

I was kilted at a friend's birthday party yesterday, which happened to also be my older sister's birthday, I wasn't able to celebrate in person with her though, just a chat on the phone! I plan on going to another friend's house for new years, probably going to wear my green mocker. That kilt gives me trouble though, last time I wore it to his house, I passed out on the floor with my kilt up! I woke up not remembering anything from 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM. He still won't tell me much about what hapened, other than he found me on the ground dragging myself to the bathroom. And that little incident of passing out with my kilt up. Yep, that kilt get's me into trouble!

Well, I think I've finall figured out how this picture posting thing works. This is me in a corner of my basement bar just before going to a Ukranian feast last night. Needless to say, I was the only one "properly" attired and the compliments came fast and furious. The best part.....not ONCE did I hear "The Question". A great time to be sure.

Hey Big Mike
You clean up pretty good, nice picture.
I still had to click on the link to see it if you want it to show in your message what you have to do is use an image tag.
What you do is this:
[img]followed by the URL of the pic you want to post make sure there are no spaces between them and then at the end of the adress you have to close the image tag to do that you need to use this [/img] again no space between your picture URL and your closing tag if everything works you will get something like this:
or in your case this:
