Welcome from Conyers,Georgia (near Atlanta; you may have heard of it).
I spent one of the most pleasant days in my life in Glasgow a few years back. It was unually sunny and warm, and the square in the center of town was packed at lunch with people "sunning" themselves. I was confused until my friend pointed out that sunny days like that are not so common.

Yes, nice with more from this side of the wee pond. Eh, I guess for practical purposes, the pond that counts in this case is the North Sea - so let me re-phrase: nice to have another member from the other side of the pond (that the long boats used to frequent)
