Rocky, it is 8:52 PM and I am enjoying Enter the Haggis whilst waiting for Albannach to take the stage. All from the comfort of my own home.
A very sweet young lady has been kind enough to call me from her cell phone, so I can at least eavesdrop on the show.

Great Day
My wife and I went there today with my daughter, son-in-law, his mother and his brother. Althought we couldn't stay for the concert since my wife and I have to sing at church in the morning, it was well worth the trip. Great shows by Albannach, the Brian Baru Pipe band and the other artists, and lots to see and do. I got some more kilt hose that my lovely wife bought me and we all had a great time. Well done Rocky and Kelly. Looking forward to next years show.
If they outlaw guns, can we go back to using swords?

Just got back from the festival and the concert .... all I can say is "Hats Off" to Rocky and Kelly. It was a fantastic turnout, wonderful weather, lots of kilts, super entertainment during the day and great vendors as well. From what we saw and heard, there were literally several thousand people in attendance throughout the day.
The concert was tremendous! The crowd was very diverse, but completely into the music, and you would be hard pressed to find an empty seat in the place. Enter The Haggis was suburb and full of energy doing lots of new songs, and lots of old favorites.
As for Albannach - UNBELIEVABLE SHOW!!!! You can not get the true impact of this band from a CD or Video. Please do yourself a favor and go see them. It is so worth it.
Thanks again Rocky, you did a fabulous job pulling that off. We had a great time. I can't wait for next year .... are the tickets on sale yet?

My wife and I went up to the festival yesterday, and we had a great time. For the first year of an event, I thought it was fantastic. I can't imagine how much work Rocky and Kelly put in to it...you two should be proud.
I'll second the praise for Albannach... Excellent!
I'm glad someone will be posting pictures, as I forgot to bring a camera.

A few pictures that my sister-in-law took.
Me in my USAK German-American in front of the theater where the evening concert took place

This theater may look familiar - It is where the movie "The Blob" was filmed.

Ah well, you've beaten me to the picture of the theater - but here are the rest!
First, you must realize Phoenixville seems to be one of those "old small towns" that make up so much of America - but get so little attention.

A view down Bridge Street (from Main Street) showing the "first impression" of the festival:

There was a nice assortment of vendors and street entertainment in addition to the evening's shows at the Colonial.
The schedule for the street stages:

And one of the more popular vendors (although no one seemed to be lacking for customers):

The Brian Boru Pipes & Drums (from King of Prussia PA) performed - some shots of them in front of the USA Kilts shop.
