Yeah, Robert is this old guy in a kilt and sweater and he gets all the attention! That lady went out of her way to say how nice he looked. Me, I an standing right next to him and don't even get a "So why are you wearing a kilt?"! Man, do I need a leather kilt. Everybody loved it, myself included. Robert's bronze leather kilt is awesome, and looks great.
And Robert himself is a very nice gentleman. Been trading banter with him over Xmarks and email for more than a year. Good to actually meet you in person. Next time, maybe I can show you some warm weather down here. I will post any good pics I got tomorow.
MacHummel, Kilted Stuart, and McMurdo, no worries, we'll get together next time. MH, I have 2 young'uns myself, and its not like you live 5 minutes from Toronto!
McMurdo, family comes first, just check out the history of the Scottish Clans! And if you have read my past posts, that is why we are back in FL. Luckily, I got out ahead of the storms yesterday. It was rainy and freezing when I left Rochester, but it was still rain. Would have been really bad if it were 2 degrees colder. By the time I got down to Corning, it was not bad, and once I crossed into PA, no worries, just nasty rain. Made it to Rocky Mount, NC yesterday, and home today. Although, that d@mn storm dogged my heels the whole way!
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
