Welcome from south central Virginia. I'm an avid hunter and fisherman too. I've tried home brewing and I used to ride when I was younger (old Honda CB 750). It's good to see more hunters jumping onto the Xmarks "kilt wagon".

In regards to my budget and the bike. I know what you mean about that. I have already added a sissybar, cargo rack, and saddlebags with quick release mounts. Those items alone lightened my wallet a fair bit. I have plans to add an aftermarket seat over the winter. The stock seat is pretty uncomfortable after about sixty miles.

Insurance for my age and clean driving record is actually pretty low (thankfully).
