If I may be so bold as to suggest adding an accessory to your kit. When going "reggie" in hot weather, you may want to consider using something like "Body Glide" as available on the USA Kilts site. I like unscented baby powder. It can make a BIG difference.

If you do choose to wear something beneath the kilt, many people choose black briefs, so if there's a quick flash or if you're not sitting quite properly, it's still hard to tell if you're wearing anything. Helps preserve the mystery, so to speak.
Honestly, I can't imagine wearing anything under the kilt. Why would I give up the constriction of trousers only to bear the constriction of undergarments?

Why suffer hours of discomfort on the off chance of a couple of seconds of risking the mystery?

Hey Folks,
A newcomer has asked a question and has been given some answers but keep in mind the following from the forum rules...
Posts and/or threads containing topics not related to kilts or topics deemed questionable by the forum staff may be deleted, without cause. This includes but is not limited to threads concerning kilt accessories used as weapons or used to carry weapons, what is worn under the kilt ,the "is a kilt a skirt?" issue, the gender of those wearing kilts, National pride issues, etc...
It's a family friendly forum (try saying that fast 5 times McMurdo ) just something to keep in mind.
Cheers

Sorry. Surreal moment struck.
I don't know what's worse...knowing exactly what song you're "quoting" here, or the fact that I still have a copy of it on 45.

It was an innocent question, I swear. My family calls the penitentiary the "pokey."
