I'm glad to hear your first kilted outing was a positive experience - they usually are. You'll find that the more you wear a kilt in public the more confidence you will have. Great story. And as Ron said, you will learn how to tell what the kilt is doing in the wind and how to control it.

I remember my first time in public in the kilt. It went very similar to yours! Congrats on your first outing and lets hope it's not your last!
