This is why responsible people would use biodegradable soap.
In hours, it is completely gone with no mess left behind, and no residue of any kind. Non toxic. Completely and totally harmeless.
Not saying I would do it, just saying I think about it.
Only a real jerk would go and dump something like laundry soap in to a fountain. That is really very harmful and damaging to the fountain, the people, the animals, and is generally a very bad thing to do.
Do no harm.

Ooh, ooh, oooohhh! Hide the soap in a pouch under your kilt. Sit down at the edge of the fountain for a rest. When you do, casually reach for a scratch and drop the soap into the fountain! Walk away before the soap reaches the fountain pump.

Did anyone else see the words SEWING MACHINE or do I have special powers? It's like one of the great master painters saying he's purchased a new set of stone working tools and you wonder what great things will come from them.
