Washing your casual

why not wash em in water? what do you think happened to the sheep when it rained? wool CAN get wet and still be ok! woolite for dark colors ( it helps the dye stay on the kilt better ) and COLD water followed by hanging out side to drip dry for a day or two and whilt its hanging run the pleats between your fingers to bring back the crisp knife edges and it'll look great!

I personally use about a half cap in about 5" of water and then put the kilt in and just lift it out let the water run out of it repeat about 6 or so times.
drain the woolite water out replace with fresh water dunk repeat about 6 or so time or till the water gets nasty ( and if you've never washed your kilt ....it will be!) if it does get nasty ...fresh water ..repeat till its clear water.

I NEVER wring or really aggitate the kilt as it will strech the wool out... just dunk , and lift..you'll be supprised how much gunk is in a kilt ( and how much comes out ) the colors will look bright and new! I've foud that dry leaning never really gets the colors looking good. they always look dull to me.
