I was no stranger to kilts, having worn one off and on in high school as part of a band uniform, but I only thought I would wear a kilt at formal events or at highland games and the like, therefore going the full nine yards seemed to make sense. Of course after wearing it a few times I have decided to make the kilt a regular part of my daily wardrobe, but not seriously until I get a few less expensive kilts. I already have my eye on something in the Texas Bluebonnet tartan to go along with a kilt pin my sister and I are working on putting together.
