I realized something funny today. The pictures that I put up are the actual color of my skin. You took away my Florida tan.

I got a good chuckle today at work when I showed a co-worker this thread and he said "what happen to your tan?" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about until he said look at these pictures. Of course I said "Well that is what I look like when I live up north and can't go to the beach every weekend."

Yeah... keep posting those pictures... Go ahead. Make my desire for a camo kilt even worse.

Geeze that is a nice looking FK.

The pockets are a really nice touch aint they? Feels weird having pockets again.

After I put the kilt through its paces at the week long war games I'll give a review on here about how it fared. I really don't have any doubts about this kilt.

The pockets are great and they are kind of hard to see. They don't really distract very much from the kilts looks. At least I don't think so.

There will be more pictures of the tiger stripe kilt in June after D-Day is over.

    is your Kilt machine washable?
I'm just wondering how it will stand up to a day on the paintball field.
my ironing skills are not the best so i think i may end up sending mine out to be laundered. when i finally order one lol.

Freedom Kilts are designed to be completely machine washable and machine dryable. The edges of the pleats are topstitched inside and out to never lose their crisp appearance. The Poly/Cotton fabrics usually come out of the dryer with nothing required but hang it up till you wear it next.

Steve says it is machine washable. And I don't doubt that at all. I haven't washed the tiger stripe kilt yet but I will wash it just like I wash my Utilikilts. In the washing machine by itself and hang it up to dry on 2 pants hangers. I give the pleats a little snap and smooth them out by hand.

This kilt will not be washed during the D-Day event. It will be a long hot rough dirty week for it. I'll be giving it a good test. 7 days in a kilt in the woods. Sounds like fun to me.

Guess I should make a correction on this. I will be hosing off the paint and mudd and wear it dry the rest of the night each day. Standing next to the grill for an hour or two should help dry it out.
