I would be interested in a kilt night. I would prefer to stay in Glasgow for the night. See what everyone else wants, I will go with the crowd. Any of the date's would suit me. The Pot Still sounds good

I know this would mean a full day's kilting and perhaps extra travel but its an option.
No problem, most days are a full day's kilting for me and I travel all over the country. Pipe Band Championships would be worth seeing though if its the 19th I won't be staying overnight.

O.K, I'm going to go with this for now. Seems like the logistics would be best for everyone, but perhaps in another few months we can plan something bigger. (World Pipe-Band championships are on for the week?)
Where: The Pot Still, Glasgow.
When: Saturday, may 26th.
Meeting place: Glasgow Central station, under the big clock in the centre of the station. (Would 2PM suit everyone?)
We can head for a late lunch in the Pot still and have a good few drinks.
If we get bored with the environment it's a quick bus ride to the West End and to The Islay bar.
Anyone who needs information on travel to Glasgow or local hotels, hostels and B&B's feel free to contact me.
How does this sound for everyone?

As I no longer drink alcohol I'd much prefer to do something interesting with my Saturday rather than sit around in a pub all afternoon AND evening. If we met a week earlier on the 19th we could spend the afternoon at the pipe band championships in Dumbarton and that would still leave plenty time for a bite to eat early evening, possibly at the Pot Still, and then a pub, with soft drinks for those of us who have to leave early and drive home, and the hardcore drinkers can stay on later at the pub.
