NOT mine, but one I saved to my pics file because I liked it. He is a firefighter in NY and it's a tribute to the members of his company that were lost in the September 11 tragedy.

If you can ever get a sharp closeup that would be impressive to see.

Like Riverkilt, my ink commorates milestones and personally meaningful events.
I currently have three. The first is a butterfly on my left pectoral which matches one on my wifes's back. My second tat is the pair of Yin/Yang crows on my calf.
Third tattoo is to commemorate the life of my neice who was killed a year ago January in an auto accident. It is an example of her artwork. (you can also see a bit of the butterfly, too)

Crow tattoos are awesome... I think you've inspired me to get a crow tattoo now Mowgli.
In all honesty, that's about how much inspiration it takes for me to decide on a new tattoo design. Check THIS one out.
YES, this is on me (left calve) and YES it is "flaming toilet paper." I think people take things much too serious and forget to have fun with life. Shows like Miami Ink and Inked are nauseating to me because everyone on there has some deep and meaningful reason behind their tattoo. There's nothing wrong with your tattoo having some meaning, or being a tribute (some of mine have great meaning.) But, I feel tattoos should also be fun.
Look at me, I'm covered in tattoos. Why WOULDN'T I get a tattoo because I found it funny?
All the Best,

my guardian angel. My niece did the basic design
The face is that of Dirkas! You have Dirka tatooed on your arm!
My own tatto is on my upper left arm, it is a 15th century Locksmiths guild crest. Given the political climate though, I don't think I'll post a picture. It is a Solar Wheel overlaid by a Mjöllnir. I've got a couple more that I want, but until I can trade for work for the tats, no more for me!

When I saw that I was going to ask for your address so Lynn and I could see it in person. That is incredible. I'm thinking of a full back or at least a large one on my back, but I'm not sure what I want, I have an idea, but not sure. AND if I can afford a full back tat.
