    Rabbie Burns would be proud...

of the high spirits, the good food :food-smiley-002: , and the sociality! What a great time.

Dreadbelly, I was trying to imagine a tam for your pineapple 'do - perhaps one with a hole in the top instead of a pom.

MacWage, a wonderful tartan. Please do post the box pleat closeups (and remember to put it in the "Show Us Your Box Pleat Kilts" thread also.)

And who was the inspired cake decorator? Very rarely does one see a kilt accessorized with rosettes.

(Too bad Georgia is sooo far away. ~sigh~)

Looks like a great time! I had more than a fleeting thought of jumping in my truck Friday afternoon and crashing the party. Unfortunately, my wife informed that I might be crashing our marriage with such a move, so I refrained. However, October would be a nice time for a fall visit.

And Dread, I am also not fond of clear beers, but I did get a sample of a new one that has pleased me, and is in the Corona style, it is Landshark from Margaritaville Brewing Co. out of Jacksonville (Florida, not NC!). Give it a try if you see it, and less than $13 per 4 pack!
