Great photo's Hamish, it looked like your visitors enjoyed themselves, I also hope to make the Storrington Weekend next year, you will have to start to book rooms.

Well I hope so. If we can't get you to Falls Church to visit your relatives then we'll just have to meet you in England.

a) Believe it or not, that was the one-and-only take. It worked first time. All we did was to count it in and Jim pressed the camera button at the right moment!
b) I doubt it!

I always try to meet kilties from the four corners of the globe, and to give them a welcome either in Storrington, or in London if they cannot make it this far out of the Capital. All I ask is for plenty of notice!

I have been to Arundel Castle but it was many years ago. It's a lovely town with a nice RC Cathedral too.
You are right, Trefor, it IS a lovely old town and full of charm. Although not RC myself, I always attend the wonderful Carol Service in the Cathedral just before Christmas each year.
I was amazed at the "split" church and the dividing gates between the castle side and the town side.
Yes, I think that must be unique. There is now a glass screen dividing the church - the town side is the Anglican Parish Church and the side entered from the Castle grounds is the RC chapel to the Castle. The Dukes of Norfolk have been RC for generations and most are buried in the chapel.
