Got an email from them today they will sell you one via email you don't have to bid on ebay and if you send them your measurements they will send you one to your size. Will be ordering mine today.
I ordered mine via email today I got an email back rather quickly from him I'll let you know when I get it. Hope I get it before I leave for for the UK in 11 days
I got an e-mail from Bill today that my kilt shipped and to expect 3-5 days transit using Airsure.
The post man just stopped by and delivered, to my door, the kilt I purchased from Argyll on eBay. Seven days transit total. I haven't even had a chance to unwrap it yet but it looks exactly as described. As soon as I get a chance I will post photos.
It's definitely longer (by 2") than the length I had asked for. I'm negotiating with Bill as I type this...
I have an issue kilt which is for my height this is about 1 inch to inch half longer than the kilts I have had made to measure so this doesn't actually surprise me, you'll probably find it comes up to the middle of your belly
Middle of the belly is one thing. Under me armpits is somethin' else entirely... I exaggerate a little...
But it's interesting to hear that issue kilts are longer. Are the kilts simply worn longer in the military? IOW, do they typically fall below the top of the knee?

Ha Ha, know what you mean, I have a kilt which is for someone 188 cm tall (exactly my height 6'2""). The quick way we normally put them on is kneeling on the ground. My belief in them being longer is to ensure there is no gap between the top of the kilt and any jacket thats being worn, this would mean pulling the kilt up and making it too short or possibly to pull your gut in too (a bit like a corset!!)
