What a great pictorial. You should ask that girl out sometime. The only thing I didn't get was that strange garb you were wearing

    Best regards,

Good suggestion! Hey, wait! Turns out I did just that, some thirty three years, two months and thirteen days ago.

Thanks. Hey, we lived in Huntington Beach for a short while back in the `90s just as the O.C. went bankrupt. Not a bad place (nice beach and pier), and no disrespect to your `hood and all, but I'd rather be in Germany.

Thanks. Yep, CalMex is the best food on earth. When Carol and I finally retire to other less frantic parts of this earth, we're going to miss the snot outta our food here. Glad you enjoyed the tour.

I first visited San Diego when my ship, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) made port call there in 1989. Being a sailor, and hanging out with other sailors, mostly what I saw that visit were the sort of businesses that cater to sailors -- bars, mostly featuring scantily clad women.

A couple of years later, my (then) girlfriend got a job at the Little Globe Theater as a carpenter, and we spent the summer in San Diego. I mostly remember it being hot and dry... but the flea market rocked my small, self-centered world.

This was a great series, and I find myself thinking about doing "a walking tour of Flagstaff." Hmm. Maybe when my new AmeriKilt arrives, I'll combine a review and a tour of our small town. Hmm.
