I went to Mad Dog on vacation last year (Labor Day) and I'm pretty sure the blond in that pic is the one that waited on us... I bought one of their rude shirts (Has a pic of some bag pipes on it and says "Blow Me" underneath) cuz the Mrs. thought it was funny. Food was okay (not great, but better than a lot of places) and the atmosphere was decent for such a loud and busy area. Not many of the waitstaff wore their kilts correctly, but hey... I can't complain too much.

I think with SWK's new Thrifty line, it might be easier to talk a restaurant into making their waitstaff wear kilts. Since they're dirt cheap you can stock up on them, make the waitstaff pay for them out of their first check and if they get ruined... oh well, they're cheap and Jerry ships fast!

So, Ron (or anyone else)....should this place be a destination for me when I fly into Phoenix next week???

Sorry, its a new place to me. I've been 350 miles north in Page for the last seven years. I'd risk it for the fish and chips...if it was the authentic kind and not the cheapie stuff.
