Are you implying that this is one of the Gold brothers' shops?
Or are you recommending it?
They claim to be the oldest family kilt business in Edinburgh, but have not kilts to show on their website.

more for information, from reading the article and the address of this stores it appears that there are lots of shops on the royal mile. I like the jacket and vest that I got and feel the price is good compared to ones imported and sold at retail outlets here in Canada.

Please bear in mind that I am not in anyway recommending that others not shop in the Gold Brother shops, I am only suggesting that I will not. What each person does or does not is up to them.

It's good to know who you're really dealing with, just the same.
For similar reasons, I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EVER shop at Wal-Mart. You might think you're getting a deal but what you're really doing is supporting predatory, underhanded business practices and taking income away from individuals who are more likely re-spend your money on goods and services that you and your employers provide (either directly or second or third hand), and giving to corporations who will not. Granted, I don't live in Scotland, so the return benefits are greatly diminished, but the principle is the same. Also, when I go to Scotland, I want a SCOTTISH kilt, not a Pakistani one...I already know where to get those, and it doesn't involve air travel.
