Well of course not, Matt. that's why I posted that many, to give you a choice. And that's why I wore the matching beret.

Very nice kilt! Well done Matt for the making, and well done Turpin for the buying! Looks great! I hope to get a Matt Newsome original, but it will probably be somewhere in the 300 range, especially with all this rabble buying them up so quick!!!

With Matt's waiting list you may need to order now for next spring. I've been wearing this all day now and the comfort is just amazing, especially in the waist band. I guess it's due to having less material in the fell. Even with pleats cut out the 8-yarders are stiffer because there are more pleats. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a box-pleat militant like MacWage. I love the swing and swish of knife pleats. but there's room in my closet for several more of these as well. The only downside is the wait. Don't wait to order until you want it now. Plan ahead. I ordered 4/21, received it on 8/21.

That is not too bad really, I know that allot of kilt makers have waits of 8-12 weeks, your wait was 16 weeks, I bet you think it was worth the wait.

Great looking kilt. I would have not expected anything less from Matt.

Don't worry about the wait. Wait- Schmate !!! It's well worth it. I wore my Henderson by Matt to a funeral today. I got all dressed up and stood in 102'f heat and I must say , I did not feel the least bit uncomfortable, and that was with kilt, Charcoal tweed vest, coat and tie, not to mention the charcoal wool hose. I felt very honored to be there for my officer friend whose father had passed. Heck , I feel honored to wear my family tartan ANYWHERE!! ANYTIME!! Again, Congratulations on recieving your New Kilt.
