Certainly not! But it could be argued that there's something wrong with a man who trawls through his book of tartans with the packaging form a roll of adhesive tape in his hand!

    From…
    http://www.clanwallace.org/tartans2.html

    "Wallace "Dress" or Wallace "Red"
...This is the tartan that 3M used on their "Scotch®" brand tape packaging.

Wallace "Hunting" - Wallace " Green"
...You may also recognize this tartan as it is used on the 3M "Scotch Magic®" tape packaging."

I just hope that the Wallaces are raking in those royalties…

Or, someone who has a book of tartans to begin with! Although, I seem to have bookmarked a lot of websites with pages and pages of tartans.

Call me old fashioned, but I am a bit of a fan of those bits of paper that are all bundled up together with writing on them.

I also have some music on those big, black discs with the tiny spinal grooves on them - my daughter calls them "olden days CD's".

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to change the mantles on my gaslights.

    Regards,

    Troy

I did this today. Black Watch, box pleated to the stripe. It was only as the car turned the corner that I noticed what was wearing it

That makes me feel better. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Just hope you're not caught staring. The person wearing the mini might think other things.

True. I'm pretty good at taking in as much information as I can, as quickly as I can. That way I don't get caught. And if I do, I'll either smile politely or go start up a friendly conversation.

I seem to have more problems with catching them staring at me than vice versa...

    Jerry-

What brand are yours? Mine are knife pleated...
