Thanks Yaish, your illustration was easy to follow - it's the only way I can learn this stuff is by illustration, words are no good. (I really need a three year old niece or nephew to show me how to work this stuff. !!)

I can't even word a CD/DVD player, am still on cassettes & VHS tapes!

Thanks guys for all your help.

I've split these 25 posts off into their own thread.

Ozman, take a look back at some of your comments -

Now c'mon and be honest with us. You really can easily add pics, can't you?

    OK, forgotten.

Bunk! If i can do it, so can you. And see, you've gone and proved it to yourself.

OK, if you're going to quit that easily, I suppose there is no stopping you.

Until Xmarks has a normal way of adding pics like most other sites, instead of this nightmare of; 'type this, click that, paste this, copy that, upload this, download that' for many of us poor dopes who are NOT computer geeks,( I don't know a Url from Rob Roy's mother!) then you'll just not have the extreme pleasure of gazing upon my very handsome countenance and (as my Niece claims) very sexy knees. So there!
Hmmm, I've lost count. How many times have we forgotten it, to this point?

Maybe, but now it's not necessary, because you have mastered the entire process. And now, you can visit any forum you like and (so long as they support BBCodes) you can post images all day long.

When a site like PhotoBucket gives you everything you need to post pictures any where you like on the Web, it's a simple matter of just relaxing and letting them do the hard part. If you can use a digital camera and download the images to your computer, you can certainly handle posting them to a forum. And you have done just that!

A fellow on a vBulletin forum I help moderate is asking for help inserting a line of code into a template on his own forum. A handful of us have clearly explained what template he needs to modify, what code he needs to insert and where it needs to be inserted. Easy-peasy. This fellow's response is to PM me and offer to pay me to insert the code for him. <shrug> I can always use extra income, but this fellow will learn absolutely nothing about maintaining his own forum. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. The offer he has made me would work out to approximately $300/hour, no longer than this edit will require and if he can afford to pay that amount, perhaps he has no need to learn.

Thx Mc Murdo, your persistence paid off. I hope Santa brings you a new kilt unexpectedly.

Cool, Cactus jack; ; I had no after-effects with mine either; but I noticed a lot of folk with canes in the docs' waiting room when I went back for check up. I guess some were not as fortunate?
Thanks Yaish & all; Now I've got to get some buddies over to take pics. I've lots of Kilts to 'flash'.
