Ah yes, you are an unfeeling brute, with no sense at all.
Wait 'til she realises that you were
a. looking at ex's web site.
b. chose her with similar taste.
(God forbid they have the same color hair or look anything alike...if so, you're doomed!)
Gee! It's great being single!

I've always been partial to Al Bundy's adage: "Women...can't live with 'em. THE END!"
I concur. I hated what I had to go through for my wedding 2 years ago, but I accepted early on that it was out of my hands. The ol' Smile and Nod is the way to go.
I'm also a strong proponent of Rules One and Two.

There is NO such thing as a rational woman planning a wedding. Best of luck.

One thing I love about my wife is how rational and not emotional she is. It makes living with her easy. But even she became emotional and unreasonable as we were planning our wedding. She managed to test the limits of my patience and my sanity. That's never happened before... or since... Thank God!
Just do your best to be patient, supportive, and understanding. If this kind of behavior is out of character for her, remember, it will pass. She will be back to normal once the insanity is over. If this is normal behavior... no offence intended, but are you sure you want to marry her?

I'm a woman, and I'd say that it is perfectly fine to wear the same dress.

The next time you have any inclination to have anything whatsoever to do with the ex, bury it. Bury it deep. Then bury the shovel you used to bury it.

Remember, he still considers her one of his best friends. Makes it kind of hard.

If he wants a Best Friend, he'd be safer getting a dog.
