Arlen,
What a winner! My first thought was "Oh, brown hose!" Then I looked again at the entire outfit and it hit me how very well they actually work. Nicely chosen. Black hose would have presented far too much 'black', and I thank you for steering clear of the ubiquitous white or off-white hose and ghillie brogues. To my eyes you look stunning and absolutely perfect for the wedding.
My warmest Best Wishes to you both.

You are looking good. Well put together outfit.
In a year, re-state your vows in a big ceremony. then you can do it up with every one kilted and get the timing right.

You look wonderful. I humbly agree with the wise and knowledgeable Hamish; the brown hose work very well. Good luck and many years of happiness.

That's exactly the right answer. I wish you both many long years of happiness.

Thanks for all of the compliments and well wishes.
There will be plenty of wedding and reception photographs to go around. (Not to mention pictures from the St. Andrew's Day Scottish Country Dancing ball just before the wedding)

Looks very good, Arlen. Best wishes to you and your bride-to-be!
By the way, is that a standard neck tie, or one of those Highland Cravats? I can't really tell from the picture.

It's a highland cravat.
They're just more comfortable.
And they look so fancy!
