Thank you!
Thanks to all who joined in the fun! Adam, Dana, and OFCJAX, it was good to meet each of you! We had a good time, even though my camera missed the ride to the restaurant Saturday evening. There were other cameras on hand, though, so I'm sure some pictures will be forthcoming. Breakfast this morning was a treat, too, as we got to sample the fare at Lynn's Paradise Cafe. Great food amongst even better company is always a good thing.
The rest of you lot missed out...

Good times... those - were - the - good - times! The craic was mighty, that's for sure. Sorry - I can't help but let my Irish roots bleed through. Anyhoo, J.T.'s either working on or has posted some pictures, and I've got the same (and probably a few more) on Photobucket: http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj146/danar75/
Enjoyed meetin' y'all!

Burns Night, anyone?
String and I were wondering if we could do something a little more on our side of the state (that is, Lexington area, at least) and I know Burns Night is coming up soon. It's kinda' short notice, I realize, but just thought I'd bring up the idea.

I could be persuaded to join in some level of fun for the 25th, perhaps, but I am not keen to get involved in a formal Burns Night. I already have plans for the 26th, so could not make it that evening.
'Twould be good to meet the two of you.

The 25th is a no-go for me. I am blessed to not have class that day, but I will be situated far below the ground in a spelunking adventure for Crawlathon at Carter Caves State Resort Park (my summer-time place of employment).
First weekend in February?

Usually if Yeti can make it I can, of course unlike him I have a full school schedule and refuse to miss class for any reason whatsoever. If I'm not there in that front row everyday, my professor should check the obituaries.

Me and Dana are planning to be in Cincy on the 25th for Burns night. As for Lexington, Pick out a good day and we can meet you at "The Pub".

I am 20 minutes south of Cincy. Oh, and no meetings in places you must be over 21 to go to ;)

Are you going special (the official Cincy Caledonian society Burn's night is on the 19th). I'm actually going to be in Louisville on the 26th, but my wife and I may be able to meet for drinks or something on the 25th.

I'll be in Louisville on the 26th, as I already have evening plans here. There is apparently going to be a kilt night in Indianapolis the 25th, posted elsewhere on this forum. I admit to debating the idea...
Good to have so many choices.
