OK so its time I join a health club an get back in shape.

Darn I hate cold kilt shrinking weather.
    Round is a shape.

Personally, I use a bicycle. I started riding daily about 4 years ago. I dropped 30 pounds and about 4" of waistline. I can hardly imagine the extra kilt money in my pocket from not driving almost 25,000 miles. My doctor approves as well. My blood pressure is low, and sodium, sugar, cholesterol etc. levels are low normal. I brew my own beer too.

Been yo-yoing all my life. Was a skinny little boy but after college something happened...sitting for work...sitting to drive for hours. Stayed active picking up weights and doing long distance bike rides...but just gained. Was a vegetarian for ten years and gained weight. Picked up about fifteen pounds over the holidays and have no clue how. Just did.

Have had to sell off some nice kilts due to weight gain...have some for sale now due to weight gain. Not fair to leave them hanging in the closet unused.

Have been looking at a bicycle myself...but its been 20 years since I did the 100 mile rides. Its just a couple miles back and forth to work. Been walking a lot more too. Haven't done any good, but haven't gotten worse.

I used to say the folks on the rez were fat because the stores on the rez only stocked foods loaded with preservative so they had a chance to sell before they went bad....then I looked at my own supermarkets. Its hard to find healthy food for sale anymore.

Buffalo meat is sooo much leaner and good for you. Elk too. Diabetes folks say eating buffalo and elk would help eliminate diabetes on the rez...yet the closest place to buy it to take home is 170 miles away.

It are tough to stay thin.

I have to say that this is the first year I've had problems with the amazing shrinking clothes. Or is it my amazing disappearing metabolism??? I sure hope not

    AHEM! Might I smugly comment?
As I stayed Kilted through the holidays, I couldn't DARE pig out. So, for the first time in many years, I did not gain even one inch.

(Please don't hate me because I'm beautiful....)
