The Southwest (Houston) welcomes the South. You'll enjoy it here. Just as a starter, I like to wear the kilt belt and buckle (with clan crest). The buckle is detachable, like a western buckle, to switch from brown to black. I also like to wear no less than a 3-inch wide belt for general casual wear. It's not required, but the kilt seems to call for it.
