It's in the low 60's and sunny here in Palm Springs. We have lots of friendly people who have seen it all, so wearing a kilt is quite acceptable here. I'm interested in getting a kilt night going, so I could use the help.
Cheers!

Don't come to Memphis!
Unless you like great scotch, beautiful women, and great food! Welcome!

And excellent music (not just Elvis), and great BBQ (I hear - I never sampled it when I was there). Memphis is a good time. And while I realize it is somewhat of a misdemeanor to go there and not eat BBQ, I know of an Elvis tribute artist who has been to Memphis many, many times (sometimes even down and back in one day), but he has never been to Sun Records. ***?!

I'd say that's a fair warning.
The real question is this:
Think your liver will hold out long enough to get through all of us?

Well ok, that is a fair warning. I am preparing for the siege right now.I am quite sure that a little matter of a couple of thousand miles of water would not deter a fun loving chap, such as you.

You'd be welcomed down here in the land of the sun, GMan. I'd guide you through the red rocks of Sedona as well as the copper mining town of Jerome...both within 20 miles of my home.
As a man born and raised at the 8500 foot elevation in the Colorado Rockies, I'm sure we could find plenty of mutual yarns to spin over a glass of single malt...

Glen, I think this is only fair. I traveled all the way to Denver and set up a kilt night with the express purpose of meeting you. Now it was not my fault that you were ill or had to work or whatever kept you from attending.
So I think it only fair that you let me know when you plan to come to Victoria so I can get plane tickets for New York.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.
