Tonight, you will find me wandering about, blue-green kilts, charcoal t-shirt with a Celtic Knot emobossed in the shirt (or if it gets cold, I 'll have a Olive Commando-styl sweater on). You really can't miss me, I am 6'4" and have long, greying brown hair.
Tomorrow, I'll be at the Lumsden Tent, which I am running solo this year (so I won't be straying far!) Please stop by and say hello, relax, etc.
If I bring a chair can I pull up a seat and stay a while?

Mac Moose,
Good seeing you this evening at the MHSS games.
I'll see you out there tomorrow... I'll be carrying the flask again, we'll have to turn it up a few times or many.

Eliminate the fact that it was cold, windy, and it took almost an hour to thaw out...
They were totally awesome.

The day started out great, but soon it got windy, and one gust took my banners down..as I fixed that, the wind took my tent for a ride, about 70 feet away, nearly hitting several people. The worst part of it is, it spilled my coffee, and there was a shortage of hot beverages at these Games. Blast it all.
Seriously, the weather was rough, gusty winds, a huge temperature drop, and a wee bit of rain. In other words...Scottish weather.
Despite all this, the turnout was excellent, the music great, and it was wonderful having so many friends come to visit me. Thanks to Kiltedmusiclover, TheRowdyScotsman and duchessofnc for their company and help.
These Games get better, and bigger, every year. I heartily recommend they be included into your schedule, if you are in the Charlotte NC area.

Cold? Well, I did notice a draft outside yesterday...
Did anyone get seriously hurt by your flying tent?

There were no Tent Casualties, thankfully! I couldn't afford the lawsuit. The great thing was, several clans and vendors came to my aid rather swiftly, helping me stake the tent down properly, etc. I always meet the best sort of people at these events.

Whew! That's good, it would have been kinda funny (in a sick and twisted kind of way) to the bill on that one
"Patient reported to have been hit by a flying tent."
