I was wearing a sample kilt for the new Royal Regiment of Scotland that I'd won on e-Bay from a kilt maker that didn't win the contract. The new RRoS adopted the tartan currently worn by the Black Watch and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. So, Matt is correct (as usual).

I guess it's just the part of the country I live in, but I still think it is interesting that one can go from snow to fair, warm weather in a short drive.

Besides the dramatic scenery (including one of seven Natural Wonders of the World), the beautiful blue skies & spectacular sunsets, that's one of the things I love most about Arizona - the wide range of climate & scenery within a relatively short distance. You can go golfing in the morning in Phoenix & then go skiing in the pines up near Flagstaff in the afternoon!

Sorry, for coming a bit late to this party, but I had a last minute gig to DJ at a party yesterday (they called me while I was at the games Saturday afternoon), so I was delayed in uploading these pics.

    OK, on with the show...

Here the bands & clans are assembling for the opening ceremony at Noon.

    ...and we're off!

Looks as if all had a good time, sorry I had to miss it. But life and work intrudes, if all goes according to plan I hope to be competing in the games next year.
