    I found it amusing, but it shouldn't offend in any case, as the title is a statement of fact, if a poetical one: the plate was from England, and the blade, wherever it was made, was Chef's, who is Scottish. We can certainly credit the English, however, for perfecting those synedochal turns-of-phrase in which weapons and utensils are extensions of their wielders.

    And to think, the other title I toyed with for the clip was simply "Rustic Labour" (which it certainly was)...

    I've never seen anyone stab a haggis like that. Pretty dumb, in my opinion.

    You're not going to get "gushing entrails bright" from a stab wound.

    We are assuming the blade or the plate was at fault. I think the haggis weakened the platter that went shatter.
