Yes, both of the ones wearing the balmorals in the first picture have gone for the infamous "pizza man" look. 
She looks good, though. As for the outfits - I really like the red lining in the jacket... The kilts really don't do it for me.

Well, it is a post op. The boots on the woman really take the show. Wonder why she isn't wearing hose?

No idea. But she kind of looks like Charles Hawtrey in that last pic. Maybe I've stared at it for too long

For those of you who haven't seen it, below is the tartan of Historic Scotland that has been mentioned in this thread. It's worn by the guides at Historic Scotland sites. I quite like it really.

That is quite nice, and the colours are appropriate for Historic -- what a novel concept! 
It would be nice to know the symbolism behind the other tartan's colours.

I like the tartan. I'm a fan of black and red. I also like the red lining in the jackets.
