Thanks, Malcolm! I'm sending a PM and posting a Kilt Night notice to the rabble.

In Wisconsin, I'm going up to Milwaukee for Tartan Day. The St. Andrews Society always puts on a relaly great party with Highland Dance, pipe bands, haggis and scotch eggs (!!!), folk bands, and a bonnie knees contest.

And I have a new outfit that I'll be debuting then, so be sure to check out my photos!

    Atlanta

In Atlanta we are getting together for dinner on Saturday, April 5, at 6 PM at the German restaurant in Stone Mountain where we sometimes gather after the games at Stone Mountian. Come on down!

Too bad it's on the weekend. I'll wear my kilt to school on Friday anyway.

In honor of Tartan Day here in San Antonio, some group challenged the early morning talk show guys to wear kilts to work. Then when they are off the air, go outside and take some publicity photos. For each one that wears a kilt to work, the group will donate $1000 to disaster relief in their name.

There will be some sort of ceremony in front of the Alamo at 1800 on the 4th to honor those Scots and those of Scot ancestry that fell there. I'm currently planning on attending.

Unfortunately I am working, and as a physician that means I have to go to the hospital for about half a day, but since I don't see patients (only their xrays and other imaging tests) I will be going kilted for the day.

Would love to meet up with anybody in the Phoenix area crowd for one drink either night of the weekend if a kilt night is getting organized, but one is my limit (on call, y'know). Otherwise I will likely enjoy a wee dram from one of my single malts at home before bed.

Well all the Sonoran Scotsmen will be celebrating National Tartan Day on Sunday April 6th, by getting together at our favorite local pub at 11:30 am to have brunch. There will be plenty of drinking, eating and kilted commraderie around for sure.

(ForresterModern) I'm pretty sure that most of us will be down at Fibber Magee's on Saturday night because one of our favorite irish bands will be playing that evening. The Keltic Cowboys incase you've heard of them. I'm assuming we'll be down there probably at 8:30ish on Saturday night if you'd like to come down for a pint. I'll PM you with my cell phone number so you can call if you'd like before you come on down.

I'll probably be doing a one man kilt walk up here in the canyonlands. Trolling for tourists now that they've begun to reappear with the warmer weather.

Always fun to hear their comments and questions and watch them scramble for their cameras. A chance to spread the word of the comforts of kilting.
